Try and try again. Well I am going to try this blogging thing out again.

I am recently back home after a fun 3 day trip with my brother. There is anything better than spending time with family. It is great to know that no matter where you at that you can call your family and they will relate to you. It’s funny to think how different each sibling can be, yet they are the ones who will understand you the best. I am so grateful for my family. So here are some thoughts about my family:

We all wear a lot of black and gray. I am not sure this is normal, but it is for us.
Music is almost constantly playing around us.
We read.
Mom and Mike are alike. Dad and Chris are alike. I am the weird combination of both.
Our dinner conversation will include at least one artsy related thing. Due to years of free art education, I now feel like I need to critic most of the art I see.
We all have funny laughs. I wish I could just record each of our laughs to listen to it when I am down, because my family has some funny laughs.
We never take normal family photos. Take that back. We once got professional photos…. it was awkward and uncomfortable.
Pretty much in a nut shell - I am biased about how cool my family is!

School is almost out! I am so excited to get a break from all my homework. I have really enjoyed my classes (in fact the picture is from a page in a book that I read for childrens literature class) though I am thoroughly burnt out because of school and work I am still glad that I have this opportunity to learn. College is not easy but I feel that I am constantly learning and growing.

Week One.

My life and well some updates:

So school and work began this week. I worked like 11 hrs in 3 days. I have no idea how I’m going to balance school, work, and homework. Oh and today I got called as Relief Society Second Counselor, so more meetings. Life is going to be crazy and I already feel stressed, probably not a good way to start out. I know I shouldn’t be burnt out with school, but I really don’t like school anymore. Im sick of worrying about grades, dealing with stupid people in classes, and I really just can’t wait to be done with college. (Seriously School and I need to have a permanent in the near future) It doesn’t help that I go to school in a tundra. Enough of that complaining. Complaining wont accomplish anything besides wasting time.

On a positive note, I also have discovered my perfect Indie Mix on Pandora. Its a little up beat but still has my mellow stuff to go with. Also Slugabed has been my jam (Thanks Mike!!). I really believe that music can say alot about person. I guess my music selection says, Hey I like a bunch of random crap and even though I listen to depressing music I am a happy person. (Speaking of music I am in a music methods for education class…. Little Kid music gets on my nerves. Yes I did like Ralfi when I was little, but Im 20 now and don’t enjoy it). Back to music…. I am very grateful for growing up in a family where music has been played alot. Music is my calming device and I also feel it is my way with connecting with people.

Anyways… I am bitter about school, but extremely grateful for lots of things. Im super glad that I got to go home for Christmas break and see the family (that includes you Sadie). The family hooked me up with some awesome presents (I’ll post some pictures at a later date). I am so grateful for my family! They really are the best. I got to have an awesome pre-birthday dinner with the family. I even got sung to at Teds with a sombrero on my head. We also got to play Scriblish together as a family! That is one awesome game!! (Thanks family for all the fun and good memories!!)

Im also glad to be living with Keesh again! Im sure we will have lots of fun this semester! Living with her is always a blast! And my other roommates are awesome as well!!

Minus the business and me completely hating school, Life is WONDERFUL!

Christmas break has officially begun. After finals and packing...

Christmas break has officially begun. After finals and packing and moving my stuff into a new apartment, I made my way down to Salt Lake and got to go to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir/David Archuleta Christmas Concert. The concert was amazing!

The photos include a picture of the garbage bag that I had to take out during a clean check, then one of me and my awesome roommate Tiffany, and my lens cup!
